Who was Gideon?
In the book of Judges, beginning in chapter 6 the Bible records the story of Gideon. Israel was under oppression from the Midianites and cried out to the Lord.
The Lord raised up a warrior named Gideon. When he was first called by God he thought God had the wrong person. He said his tribe was the weakest, his family was the smallest and he was the least important in his family. God confirmed His calling to Gideon and sent him out.
A large army surrounded Gideon but God asked Him to keep only the warriors who were the most ready and skilled for the battle. Out of more than 32,000 soldiers God sent almost all of them home, leaving only 300. God brought a mighty victory through Gideon's small army and delivered Israel.
God said the original army that had gathered around Gideon was too big. Israel would think that it was their own power that had won the battle.

Who are the Leeper Family?
An on-fire revivalist family that takes the gospel to America as a family. The children pray and lead worship and share testimonies of God's power in their lives. Dad, Chris, has been in leadership for 40 Days of Hope in California since 2016. They have a passion to see revival, the heart for prayer and sharing the gospel to arise in America.

After Pastoring for many years, God called me to begin 40 days of Hope with leaders from churches in the San Diego area. God has expanded that ministry to California, Mexico and around the world.
